Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how MinesCalc.com may use cookies, local storage, tags, click identifiers and similar technologies, what categories they fall into and how you can manage them.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. They can remember preferences, keep track of a session, measure how a site is used or record that a link was clicked.
Cookies can be set by MinesCalc.com (first-party cookies) or by other companies whose tools appear on or behind the site (third-party cookies).
Similar technologies
Some tools use local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, device identifiers or URL parameters instead of, or in addition to, cookies. In this policy, “cookies” includes these similar technologies where the context allows.
The calculators on MinesCalc.com run in your browser and do not require an account, login or personal profile to work.
2. Categories of cookies used
| Category | Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Keep the site secure and functional, remember consent choices, protect against abuse. | Security cookies, consent-storage cookies, load-balancing cookies |
| Preferences | Remember interface choices where offered. | Display or settings preferences |
| Analytics | Measure visits, page performance and interaction patterns in aggregate. | Analytics cookies, event tags, measurement identifiers |
| Affiliate | Attribute a visit to a partner casino to a link on this site so a commission can be credited. | Click identifiers, referral parameters, affiliate-network cookies |
| Advertising | Measure or deliver advertising if advertising tools are used. | Ad-measurement cookies, campaign tags |
3. Analytics
What analytics may process
Analytics tools may process page URL, referral source, approximate location, device type, browser type, screen size, timestamps, click events, scroll events and other interaction information.
Depending on the provider, analytics may use cookies, local storage, tags or similar identifiers.
How analytics data is used
Analytics information is used in aggregate: to understand which pages and calculators are used, to find display or performance problems and to prioritise improvements. It is not used to build gambling profiles of individual visitors.
4. Affiliate links and tracking
MinesCalc.com contains partner links to casino operators, marked as advertising and carrying the rel="sponsored" attribute. When you click a partner link, tracking works as follows.
What happens on a partner-link click
Partner links route through redirect URLs on this site (for example, addresses under /go/). The redirect forwards you to the operator or an affiliate network together with a click identifier or referral parameter, so that a later registration or deposit can be attributed to this site.
The operator or affiliate network may set its own cookies on its domain at that point. Those cookies are governed by that company's policies, not by this one.
What affiliate tracking does not include
MinesCalc.com does not receive your casino login details, balances, bets or personal account data through affiliate tracking. Attribution reporting from partners is typically aggregated or pseudonymous (for example, click IDs, registration counts and commission amounts).
The commercial relationship is disclosed on the Affiliate Disclosure page and does not change the calculators or the figures shown on this site.
5. Third-party cookies
Third-party control
Third-party cookies are controlled by the relevant third party. Their privacy policies and cookie policies explain how they process information and how users may manage preferences with them.
Where third parties appear
Third-party technologies can be involved in analytics, affiliate networks, advertising measurement, security services, content delivery and hosting. Leaving MinesCalc.com through any external link places you under the destination site's own cookie and privacy rules.
6. Managing cookies
Consent choices
Where a consent tool is shown, optional categories such as analytics, affiliate or advertising cookies should follow the choices made in that tool. Necessary cookies do not require consent because the site cannot function safely without them.
Browser settings
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you delete cookies, block cookies, restrict third-party cookies, clear local storage or use privacy-focused browsing modes.
Blocking cookies may affect consent storage, analytics accuracy or some site features.
- Use your browser settings to delete cookies already stored on your device.
- Use privacy or tracking-prevention settings to limit third-party cookies.
- Use the site’s consent tool if available to change optional-cookie choices.
- Review third-party provider settings for analytics, ads or affiliate networks where relevant.
7. Changes to this policy
This Cookie Policy can be updated when tools, providers or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date in the summary shows the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page; continued use of the site after an update means the current version applies.
Questions about cookies on MinesCalc.com can be sent to [email protected]. For how personal data is handled more broadly, see the Privacy Policy.
