Session return is a short-sample result, not an RTP estimate. Over many independent rounds, a model below 100% has negative expected value even though short sessions can finish above or below it.
Why a short session cannot estimate RTP
Under this simulator’s fixed RTP model, changing the cash-out target changes variance, not theoretical expected return. At a fixed depth, reach probability multiplied by the cash-out multiplier equals the selected RTP before display rounding. Real casino tables may round or truncate multipliers, so effective RTP can vary slightly by cash-out point; see Mines RTP Explained. Rare targets therefore need far larger samples before session return begins to stabilize.

How to play Mines online
Online casino Mines is usually built around a grid of hidden tiles. Some tiles are safe, and some contain mines. The player chooses how many mines are hidden, opens tiles one by one, and can cash out before hitting a mine.
Choose the mine count
The mine count controls the risk curve. Fewer mines usually mean a higher chance of each click being safe, while more mines create faster multiplier growth and higher bust risk.
Open safe tiles
Each safe tile usually increases the current multiplier. The longer you continue, the more risk compounds, because the goal is not only to survive one click but to reach a chosen cashout point.
Cash out or bust
If you cash out before hitting a mine, the round returns the selected payout. If you hit a mine first, the round usually ends and the bet is lost.
