The multiplier formula
The formula starts with the probability of revealing a selected number of safe tiles before hitting a mine. Once that survival probability is known, the fair value is simply its inverse.
Survival probability formula
The cumulative survival probability is calculated as C(25 − M, s) / C(25, s), where M is the number of mines and s is the number of safe picks. This measures the chance of reaching the selected cashout point.
Multiplier formula
The fair multiplier is 1 divided by survival probability. If a setup has a 50% chance of reaching the target, the fair multiplier is 2.00x before RTP, rounding and platform-specific rules.
How to read the chart
Choose the mine count
The mine count changes every row of the chart. More mines usually mean faster multiplier growth and lower survival probability.
Pick the chart view
Use the multiplier table for the selected RTP, then use RTP comparison to place fair, 99%, 98% and 97% values beside one another.
Compare multiplier with odds
A larger multiplier usually means a lower chance of reaching that cashout point. The chart keeps the multiplier and probability side visible together.
What changes the result in the calculator
The multiplier table changes with mine count, safe-pick depth and RTP. Safe-pick depth is represented by the rows; bet size is intentionally excluded because it does not change a multiplier.
Mine count
More mines reduce the number of safe tiles on the board. This usually increases the multiplier faster, but it also lowers the chance of surviving each cashout depth.
Safe-pick depth
Each additional safe pick compounds the risk. A deeper cashout point can show a larger multiplier because fewer rounds are expected to reach that point.
RTP setting
The fair figure is the zero-edge value. The RTP-adjusted multiplier is lower when the selected RTP is below 100%, which is how a house edge is reflected in the estimate.

Fair multiplier
It is the zero-edge mathematical price of a cashout point. It is calculated as the inverse of survival probability and does not include house edge.
RTP-adjusted multiplier
The RTP-adjusted multiplier applies the selected RTP to the fair multiplier. A 99% RTP setting is roughly 1% lower than fair math before rounding.
Stake Mines multiplier and other 99% RTP tables
Many users compare this general chart with Stake Mines multiplier values because Stake-style Mines is commonly modeled with a 99% RTP estimate. The same fair multiplier formula applies, but each platform may round or display values differently.
Stake-style estimate
