Interactive 97% RTP table
Compare survival chance, bust risk, fair multiplier, 97% RTP-adjusted multiplier and conditional cash-out payout for 1–20 mines.
With 3 mines and 5 safe picks, the survival chance is 49.57%. At a nominal 97% RTP, the cash-out multiplier is 1.9570x; a 10.00-unit bet would return 19.57 if you cash out after 5 safe picks. Effective RTP at this cash-out point is 97.00%, with EV of -0.0300 per unit.
Spribe-style estimates use 97% RTP and a 1–20 mine range. The shared table does not automatically apply the x10,000 maximum-win cap; any displayed multiplier above x10,000 should be read as capped at x10,000 under the model used on this page.

97% pricing and the x10,000 ceiling
The shared calculator already provides the full SSR table. These examples isolate the two Spribe-specific differences: the 97% pricing layer and the maximum-win cap.
3 mines, 5 safe picks
Survival chance is 49.57%. Fair value is 2.0175x; at 97% RTP the estimate is 1.9570x. A 10-unit bet would return 19.57 if you cash out at that point.
97% compared with 99%
The same setup is 1.9974x at 99% RTP and 1.9570x at 97%. On a 10-unit bet, that is about 0.40 less conditional payout and two extra units of expected cost per 100 wagered.
Values above x10,000
The mathematical table can exceed x10,000 at extreme depths. Under the cap used by this page, the survival probability stays unchanged but the payable multiplier stops at x10,000.
Where to play the Spribe version
Spribe is a game provider rather than a casino. Availability and current terms depend on the platform carrying the game, so use the comparison page to review verified Mines versions before choosing where to check the live title.
How the Spribe version differs from casino in-house Mines
Several casinos run their own in-house Mines instead of the provider release, and the assumptions differ in ways that change the numbers. Three differences matter for the math.
| Version | Model used on MinesCalc | Mine range |
|---|---|---|
| Spribe (provider) | 97% | 1–20 |
| Stake in-house | 99% | 1–24 |
| BC.Game titles | Title-specific / custom RTP | Check the live title |
| Roobet | 96% | 1–24 |
| 1win in-house | 94% derived, rounded | 2 / 3 / 5 / 7 |
| Duel | 100% within applicable limits | 1–24 |
RTP sits in the middle
At 97%, the Spribe release returns more than a typical 96% crash game but less than the 99% in-house builds. On identical setups, its estimated multipliers land between the two.
Mine range stops at 20
In-house versions usually allow up to 24 mines; Spribe caps the selector at 20. The extreme one-safe-tile setups available elsewhere simply do not exist here.
A hard x10,000 win cap
Payouts are limited to 10,000 times the bet. The section below shows exactly which deep targets run into that ceiling.
When the x10,000 cap actually matters
The win cap only becomes relevant at extreme depths, where raw math would price a target above 10,000x. Everywhere else, the calculator estimate and the capped game agree.
20 mines: capped from the 5th pick
A full clear of all 5 safe tiles has a 97% RTP estimate of 51,536.1x. Under the cap used by this page, the payable multiplier is limited to 10,000x — about 19.4% of the uncapped estimate.
10 mines: capped from the 12th pick
Up to 11 safe picks, the 97% estimate stays below the ceiling. At the 12th pick it reaches about 11,086.4x, so the x10,000 cap starts to reduce the payable value.
4 mines: capped only at pick 21
With four mines, the first capped row is pick 21, where the 97% estimate is about 12,270.5x. Shallower targets remain below the ceiling.
Fairness and interface features
Provably fair verification
Each round is derived from committed client and server seeds, and completed rounds can be checked in the fairness tab after the seed is revealed. Verification confirms the past; it does not expose future boards — the mechanics are covered on the Provably Fair Mines page.
Random selection does not change the odds
When no tile-specific information is available, every unopened position has the same probability. Random selection and manual selection therefore use the same underlying odds; interface controls do not create an advantage.

FAQ
What RTP does Spribe Mines use?
The published figure is 97%, and this page applies it as a fixed preset: the estimated multiplier equals the fair mathematical price multiplied by 0.97, before interface rounding.
How many mines can be set in the Spribe version?
From 1 to 20 on a fixed 5x5 board. This differs from most casino in-house builds, which typically allow up to 24 mines.
What is the maximum win?
Payouts are capped at 10,000 times the bet. The cap only binds at extreme depths — for example, from the 5th pick at 20 mines or the 12th pick at 10 mines.
Does the random pick button improve the odds?
No. Every unopened tile has an identical probability of being safe, so a random selection performs exactly like a manual one. It is a convenience feature, not an advantage.
Is there a demo mode?
Demo availability depends on the casino carrying the game. You can also test the same probability concepts with virtual credits in the free simulator on this site.
Why do estimates here differ from the Stake page?
Different presets: this page applies 97% RTP and a 1–20 mine range, while the Stake page models the in-house 99% build. Identical setups therefore price slightly differently.
